Junior Prefect's privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights as a ticket buyer or event organiser.
- Junior Prefect is a ticketing and live-experience platform operated by STOTTE LIMITED, a company registered in Nigeria and trading as Junior Prefect.
- When this policy refers to "we", "us" or "Junior Prefect", it means STOTTE LIMITED. Our registered address is in Lagos, Nigeria, and our support email is hello@juniorprefect.com.
- We act as the data controller for the personal information collected through juniorprefect.com and related services.
- Account and contact data: name, email address, phone number and password when you create an account or complete a purchase.
- Purchase data: billing address, payment method, transaction history, ticket selections, seat numbers, order references and event attendance records.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referral links and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
- Communications data: WhatsApp or SMS messages, email correspondence, customer-service chats and any feedback you send us.
- Organiser data: company name, tax identifier, payout bank details and event production information if you list an event on the platform.
- To process ticket orders, take payment, issue tickets and QR codes, and verify entry at the venue.
- To send booking confirmations, payment receipts, event reminders and important updates about shows you have bought tickets for.
- To provide customer support, resolve disputes and detect or prevent fraud, abuse or unauthorised resale.
- To improve the platform, analyse sales trends, manage waiting rooms and enforce purchase limits.
- To comply with legal obligations such as tax reporting, audit requirements and law-enforcement requests.
- Performance of a contract: processing necessary to fulfil your ticket purchase, issue tickets and grant entry.
- Consent: where you opt in to marketing messages or agree to additional data uses.
- Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, platform security, analytics and customer service, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: where we are required to retain or disclose data by applicable law or regulation.
- Payment processors: SquadCo (GTBank) processes card and bank-transfer payments. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Messaging providers: Meta Cloud API and Wassenger deliver WhatsApp confirmations and reminders. Phone numbers and message content are shared only to deliver these messages.
- Email delivery services: used to send receipts, tickets and marketing communications you have consented to.
- Cloud hosting and analytics providers: process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality and security obligations.
- Event organisers and venue operators: limited attendee lists, seat assignments and check-in status needed to run the event.
- Legal and regulatory bodies: when required by law, court order or to protect our rights and safety.
- We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
- Transaction records are retained for at least six years to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations.
- Marketing consents and communication logs are retained so we can respect your preferences and demonstrate compliance.
- You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@juniorprefect.com, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure: request deletion of your data where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it.
- Restriction and objection: ask us to limit processing or object to certain uses such as direct marketing.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: unsubscribe from marketing emails or opt out of WhatsApp promotional messages at any time.

- We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site and improve performance.
- Analytics cookies help us measure traffic, conversion and feature usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work correctly.
- We do not sell your browsing data to third parties.
- We use encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, row-level database security and regular monitoring to protect your data.
- Tickets and QR codes are single-use and tied to a unique order reference to prevent duplication or scalping.
- No system is completely secure. If you suspect a data breach or unauthorised access, please contact us immediately.
- Junior Prefect is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without verifiable parental consent.
- If you believe we have collected data from a child without proper consent, please contact hello@juniorprefect.com so we can delete it.
- Some of our service providers operate outside Nigeria, including in the United States and Europe. Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections.
- We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at juniorprefect.com/privacy, and we will note the effective date at the top of the page.
- For significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform before the changes take effect.
